The Moody Blues: Justin Hayward (vocals, guitar); Ray Thomas (flute); Patrick Moraz (keyboards); John Lodge (bass); Graeme Edge (drums).
The Moodies' best-selling album of the '80s, largely due to its nostalgic and MTV-friendly hit single "Your Wildest Dreams." In retrospect it's very much of its time (Tony Visconti's slick, synth-heavy production practically screams 1986), but it does find the band tinkering around the edges of its formula, with massive overdubbed vocals and guitar solos ("Talkin' Talkin'" and "Rock 'n' Roll Over You") that occasionally recall Queen.
