From the mind of legendary horror director Wes Craven comes one of the most original horror movies ever. Spawning 7 sequels and a TV series, A Nightmare on Elm Street is truly a movie for those who are a fan of horror. With a gripping plot and enough suspense to keep the most easily distracted rigid, this is one movie you won't want to pass up on!

Cult classic, the beginning of a group of great horror movies, this is the stuff of all kids nightmares. Freddie is brilliant and scarey, some good humour as well as a bit of gore. This is one of the best of the old horror movies of my generation. Kids these days might not think the effects are as good as now, but this is an old classic, and a must for Halloween parties.

By far the best nightmare on elm street movie ever! even today the scenes in the bedrooms still freak me out. Nothing is sacred to wes craven. his films are graphic and total mind blowers and this one set a very high standard for his carrer to follow.
