This is, as fans would agree, one of the most engaging shows to come out of Britian in years. The stread of ages in the characters, particularly the fantastic 3 older men, make the show an absolute winner amongst women even up to older ages. There really aren't too many quality shows that include older actors, and such amazingly talented ones at that. The problem with this series, series 5, is that the first episode seems out of character with the writing quality and consistency of the characters. It is a pivital episode dealing with an issues that had been growing since the first movie, the problem was it had incredible gaps of quality in the way the characters handle the court case. Luckily, fans who survive the disappointing treatment of the court case of the first episode will find the rest of the stories up to form and absolutely excellent. well worth the purchase of the series.
