American action drama starring Pam Grier. Model-turned-photographer Friday Foster (Grier) is at Los Angeles airport to record the arrival of millionaire Blake Tarr (Thalmus Rasulala), the country's wealthiest African American, when she witnesses three men attempting to assassinate him. Photographing the melee, Foster teams up with private eye Colt Hawkins (Yaphet Kotto), and is subsequently plunged into a shadowy conspiracy when her childhood friend, Cloris Boston (Rosalind Miles), is murdered.
