This is definitely one of star/director/producer Warren Beatty's better films, and with that story and cast it couldn't really miss. This is a hugely entertaining film about the creation of Las Vegas and the gangsters that got it up and running...and then fought over who got to keep it. The story is enthralling and the acting is superb, particularly Beatty, Ben Kingsley and Harvey Keitel. It sags a little in places (I didn't think the love interest was very interesting) but it always gets back on track soon enough. Highly recommended.
