Forced into early retirement from the police service after turning blind, former Detective Johnston Chong Si-teun (Andy Lau) now makes his living investigating cold cases. Following an encounter with Inspector Ho Ka Tung (Sammi Cheng), he becomes immersed in an unsolved mystery that will bring them both face to face with a serial killer as they uncover a secret long, buried in the past.
