Rick Todd (Dean Martin) is struggling to make it as an artist in The Big Apple. But thanks to his wacky writer friend, Eugene (Jerry Lewis), the two pals are about to make a colourful splash in the world of comic books. Eugene dreams up superhero stories in his sleep. Rick writes them down and draws them out. Before they know it, they are a sensation!
Unfortunately, they not only attract the attention of a bevy of screen beauties (Shirley MacLaine, Dorothy Malone, Eva Gabor and Anita Ekberg), but also the attention of the US Secret Service and a gang of Russian spies!
