About the Author

Tim Hopgood worked as a graphic designer and freelance illustrator before turning his hand to children's books. Here Comes Frankie won him the Best Emerging Illustrator category at the Early Years Awards 2008 and received critical acclaim. This followed his huge success with A Dog Called Rod which was shortlisted for both the Red House Book Award and the British Book Design Awards. Tim is married with two children and lives in the centre of York.
