Frank Sargent is a composer, music teacher, and choir leader. He served as Chorusmaster of the Dallas Symphony Chorus 1981-1983, and founded the Dallas Symphony Chamber Chorus. His school choirs have performed for the Texas Music Educators Association, the Southwest Division of the American Choral Directors Association, and at Carnegie Hall. In 2002 he received a 'Hero Award' from Score a Goal in the Classroom for outstanding music teaching. He has served in leadership positions in local and national choral organizations, including TMEA, TCDA, the Arizona Choral Educators board, and as National Chairman of the ACDA Repertoire and Standards Committee on High School Choirs. As President of AzACDA in 2010, he was a co-founder of the Diamondbacks Choir Nights, during which thousands of singers perform his arrangement of The Star-Spangled Banner at home games of the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team. He currently serves as Choral Director at Apache Wells Community Church in Mesa, Arizona.
