About the Author

After his basic training in photography, Max Galli, born in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, in 1952, attended the Federal College of Photography in Hamburg, where he passed the Master Photographer examination. He has been working as a freelance photographer and photojournalist since 1982, and lives in St. Moritz. He is a founding member of the agency Look in Munich, and has published around forty-five volumes of photography and more than one hundred calendars. He is a member of the German Association of Journalists and of the agency LAIF in Cologne.
