Jody-Lynn served in the U.S. Marines in the early 1980s. Between the years 2004 through 2008, Jody-Lynn created running events to raise awareness and funds for charities. After nearly a thirty-three year running career she changed athletic careers. Encouraged by her husband Norman, she became a professional MMA Fighter at age fifty.
