Bought it to improve my elementary French, and yes, it is an interesting way of revision. The stories are humorous and the illustrations are great additions. Quite a lovely book with thick pages and good printing. All in all, much better quality than expected. The book arrived on the last day of estimated date, but in an excellent condition.

This is a very fun way to improve your French. As most of the adventures of the little Nicolas take place at school or in his family you quickly are able to understand a lot of the story without having to use your dictionary. This makes it so much more enjoyable to read in a foreign language. And the stories are so universal because everyone recognizes classmates who liked to eat, wore glasses and were very clever, were a lot of fun to be with but always got into trouble... All the books are illustrated by the same cartoonist, very nice drawings.
