Since she was little, Tessa has believed in Andre. When she inherits her uncle's house, she goes back to Ama, Oklahoma, determined to solve the mystery of the man her uncle told her didn't exist. But once she gets to Ama, Tessa finds more than one mystery.

How did her uncle really die?

And what do you do when you find the tall, dark and handsome man of your dreams, one that even cooks and cleans?

Too bad he's dead.

Susan York Meyers is the author of two chapter books, Callie and the Stepmother and The Princess and the Pee, as well as two picture books, The Mystery of the Red Mitten and Grrr...Night!, which won the Creative Women of Oklahoma Award. Her latest book, Stone Girl, is an early young adult novel. Susan worked in elementary school libraries for over twelve years and is familiar with both books and the children who check them out.

In addition to her writing for children, Susan has a published book of poetry for shoe lovers, entitled Shoe Haiku. She also wrote Two Little Old Ladies: It's All in the Attitude, a humorous inspirational book. Meyers is an inspirational speaker and also speaks to writing groups.

Susan lives with her hubby and Kira, the dog that thinks she's people. You can find out more about Susan and her books at susanameyers.com. Be sure to sign up for her newsletter which comes out four times a year.
