"Fixing Jaw Pain by Sid Anandkumar is a pleasant read full of
valuable information for its readers. The book successfully
educates readers about TMJ-related complications, an
often-misunderstood pain disorder. For clinicians, the book serves
as a competent manual for treatment supported by current scientific
literature. And for individuals suffering from TMJ pain, it is a
well-thought-out, simple-to-follow and effective guide for
understanding the disorder with therapeutic interventions to help
reduce and treat pain. I highly recommend Fixing Jaw Pain as a
foundation for education on TMJ pain."-Sandeep Poonian, Author of
The Habits that Define Us "Sid Anandkumar's Fixing Jaw Pain is a
much-needed and thorough self help guide for a difficult problem
that many people struggle with. Starting with anatomical
illustrations that explain the basis for TMJ function, followed by
the multifactorial basis of jaw pain, and then the most important
parts-how to sort out your sources of pain and how to fix it-Sid's
easy-to-understand, interactive approach keeps the reader fully
engaged and participating throughout the book, which is essential
to translate the information into an effective treatment
program."-Michael Ries, MD, Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery,
University of California, San Francisco, Author of The Joint
Kitchen "Fixing Jaw Pain by Sid Anandkumar is an important work at
an important time. We have faced unprecedented challenges and
unprecedented levels of stress. These manifests, and affect our
health in a number of different ways, but none of them are good.
Jaw pain involving the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is a common
mechanism and location where such stressors often reveal
themselves. Too often, healthcare providers turn to pills as the
solution. In this manual Sid, a distinguished registered physical
therapist, offers a number of complementary non-narcotic solutions
vetted by evidence-based scientific research. The beauty of this
book is that many of the techniques Sid shares to relieve jaw pain
can be applied throughout other areas of the body. That makes this
book a critical owner's manual for anyone dealing with the
extraordinary trials and stressors of our modern life." -Michael S.

comprehensive book on temporomandibular disorders (TMD). The most
important aspect of the book is that the author repeatedly stressed
that the information in the book is not sufficient for recovery and
that it does not have the intention of giving a 'cookie-cutter'
approach to treating TMJ problems. This book will certainly equip
those dealing with persistent TMJ-related symptoms to have
up-to-date knowledge to help them better communicate with their
health-care provider. This book should replace endless futile
internet searches that usually increase fear and potentially delay
recovery."-Dr. Bahram Jam, PT, Founder and Director of Advanced
Physical Therapy Education Institute (APTEI)

"This is the most insightful and practical book I have read
covering all aspects of how to deal with jaw pain. Thank you, Sid,
for helping so many with this book." -April Graham, Registered
