About Author : Dr. Prankrishna Pal (b. 1961),Rader & Head, Department of Economcis, Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata has been teaching Mathematical Economics, Micro-economics and Econometrics at the Post-Graduate level. He did his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Kalyani. His Ph.D. dissertation and Instability (1971-90)". The major part of the work has already been published in the Indian Economic Journal and Artha Beekshan. He is at present the Member of the Executive Council of the Indian Economic Association (IEA) and the Joint Secretary of the Bengal Economic Association (BEA).He has published a large number of research articles in the reputed journals. He has participated in the International/National Conferences/Seminars.
