Reviews

#ADifferentLand delighted me. How many novellas can encompass themes of love, displacement, grief and integration in 115 perfectly-crafted, nuanced pages full of tension and vividly-realised landscape? Wow, Paul Jennings!
*Alison Brumwell*

Paul Jennings does it again. Totally enthralling and full of nail-biting ttension, this twisting-turning short book with its themes of displacement, love, loss, grief and integrating into a new community, and steamy, tropical illustrations by Geoff Kelly, will likely be devoured in a single sitting, leaving your head spinning and your heart in your mouth.
*Jill Bennett*

Adore the WHOLE loosely themed trilogy by ⁦‪@JenningsPaul‬⁩ and deeply admire the way in which landscape is evoked so well in spare writing, as is character.. depth of emotion...! Wow, a potent reminder never to equate short as somehow being synonymous with simplistic.
