A collection of writings on life and relationships. These female authors each created a world I could sit in for a moment; sometimes I felt echoes of their emotions, shared or opposed their thoughts, enjoyed their longing. Often I felt a sense of gratitude a voyeur does when they are granted access to a stranger's intimate life and are allowed to view hidden secrets they themselves wouldn't share. I especially enjoyed some of the writings from New Zealand which had Maori characters as this is a culture I know little about. If you're looking for a book full of sexy lesbian erotica, this isn't it. If you're looking for stimulating reading capturing lesbian life, love and loss, then these local writers have written this for you. The book was named after the play by Donna Jackson. Other writers include Lisa Bellear, Gill Hanscombe, Ngahuia Te Awekotoku, Susan Hawthorne, Jan Marsh, Robyn Smith, Susan Sayer, Powhiri Rike-Heke.
